This is a complete roof rack system for xterras with the factory installed roof rack. The factory rack is too narrow for multiple boats, kayaks, surf boards, etc. so i put this on my 2006 Nissan Xterra and it worked great. Everything in great shape.

Includes extended length square cross bars and the railing pack with 4 feet. I believe this rack fits the first generation xterras also but not for certain - can check at www.thule.com to be certain at fit guide.

New this system MSRP is $319.95.
Selling for $150 plus $30 shipping flat

There are thumbnails of a similar setup here (I do not have the fairing or locks on this one):

I have the same issue. I've crammed three kayaks and two bikes on the factory rack but would like to fab a modular rack that can have a wider width. What are you going with on yours?

Sorry for my delay in responding. I thought I would get an email if anyone posted on here. The footpack is the 450 model and there are four of them. The crossbars are 65" so that you can tie down outside of the footpacks. These stick out a touch from the top of the vehicle but head clearance is not an issue because of the height of the xterra. These are located in Fayetteville, WV.
