Flat towing Gen2 xterra with auto trans?

Has anyone knowledge or experience "Flat" "Towing" (all 4 wheels on the ground), a 2007 Xterra (second generation) behind a motor home. My Xterra has automatic transmission.

Would it be safe if I installed free wheeling hubs on the front axle and let the engine idle with the transmission in neutral, as I towed the xterra?

Would I need free wheeling hubs on the front axle?

Would idling the engine, while towing, lubricate the transmission sufficiently?

I had a Bronco 2, automatic, 4X4 and towed it as far as 500 a day and over several thousands of miles during vacations, letting the engine idle, without any issue.
