There are a few of us here that like to get out and cast a line. Matt and I went out Saturday for a little night stripe bass fishing here in AZ.

We were out from 8pm-3am and caught about a dozen.

Hey Jason, Nice carp! Yeah we were on Pleasant. We caught about a dozen Striped Bass and 1 cat. It was pretty fun.

Matt and I work for our mail order division. Our office is in the Deer Valley Air park. We'd be happy to help you with your next set of wheels or tires but if you already have a favorite local store it may be more convenient to keep going there.

I don't have a boat, only float tubes and a 9ft pontoon, so pleasant is hard to fish without a motor. I've fished it a couple times and caught some stipers and lg mouth bass, but I wasn't able to get to the better coves and parts of the lake to really get into the larger fish.

Hoping that might change soon, a buddy is picking up a boat this week and wants to hit pleasant this fall a bunch.

I usually fish more for trout and bluegill, some of my favorite fish to catch...

Fly fish or Spin? I do both but mostly spin.

I love trout fishing, it's probably my favorite. I grew up trout fishing in Wyoming and Oregon and its almost all trout fishing there. I was able to snag my boat from Craigslist about a year and a half ago. (killer prices can be found if you are ready to drop everything and have cash in hand) I fish pleasant a lot now because its so close.

Actually it's a spotted bass. Ended up 4th, FLW National Guard at Lake Shasta January of 2010.

Nice sturgeon! Where on the Columbia did you catch it? I was at Coast Guard Sector Portland for 4 years. Never had the chance to go sturgeon fishing though

You'd be amazed and I never knew myself! The sturgeon was caught in the Willamette right in Downtown Portland. You'll notice in the background that's the Sellwood Bridge. These fish fight the same regardless of their age or size. On this day I hooked 3 all were about the same size then I hooked a 10 footer and did not even know its size until it came up!

Will do. I heard about Ifish, but never went on there. I had an OS1 that was on that site. any good river fishing during the winter?
