Hello everyone! as you may have been able to tell i am a first time offroader. I recently bought a 2008 nissan xterra Off-Road and i am looking to lift it, put bigger tires on it, etc. I have some pictures that i will post and i wanted to ask you guys and girls if you could possibly tell me about the upgrades on them.

For the picture of the black xterra I would like to know:
-if its a 2nd generation xterra
-what size tires
-how many inches of lift (the best you can tell)
-if there is a body lift or not
-what size of wheel spacers

For the picture of the xterra with the stickers all over the back of it:
-what kind of rear bumper is on it

(i do not own any of the pictures posted

The answers to your questions are: yes its a 2nd gen. They look like 285/75s but its hard to tell. It looks like a S.A.S set up(solid axle swap) so probably 4" of lift(looks like a leaf spring in front of front tire. Doesn't look like it has spacers, that stanced look can be acquired with different offset wheels. It doesn't appear to have a body lift, but its impossible to tell from that pic.as for the bumper it looks like a generic steel hitch bumper w 2 recovery points. If you know a welder he/she can easliy make it.

IndysX thanks you for the reply! that information was helpful and i will be sure to look up your suggestions! the only thing I was confused on was you talking about wheel offsets? thanks!
Wheel offset is how far from the centerline of the wheel (looking from the top) the wheel mounting plate is ( when the lugnuts hold the wheel) backspacing can also give the stanced look. Stock on a 1st gen like mine has 5.5" of backspacing. My aftermarkets are 3.75 bs basically meaning 3.75" of the wheel is inside the mounting plate. See my build thread for pix if they might help.
