Hey guys, I'm looking for a 07/08 Off Road right now, my Trooper just kicked the bucket... I want to get the E-Lock and HDC switches in the console. It's making my search a bit harder being that I want a yellow one -

Can you get them installed if I get one without those switches? If so, how much? Would it be cheaper to find a car with the switches and then get it painted "Solar Yellow"?

As far as I know, all of the 2nd Gen OFF ROADs have the locker and HDC. I'm pretty sure that plus the Bilstein shocks and skid plates is what makes it an OFF ROAD. But I may be mistaken. Someone else will either correct me or back me up on this. Stay tuned!

From pics I've seen on online classifieds, only a handful of the 2nd Gen's have the E-Lock, VSD off, and HDC buttons.... all of the rest have just the VSD off right of the 4WD select knob.... It bugs me seeing buttons without functions... thanks for the response though! Hopefully I'll figure this thing out soon

yes the only way you are going to get the e-locker and the hill decent control is if you get the off road... sorry but thats the only trim they are offered in...

awesome! Thats the trim I wanted! I guess a lot of places call them "offroads" but they might just be 4X4 S models..... damn cars salesman, oh well, just went to a dealer, I think I'm gonna get an 09.... thanks guys for your help!
