So yesterday when I was out playing in the snow when I basically got my 2014 Pro4x high centered. When I was trying to get back out I was able to engage the locking diff (light came on steady). Well I forgot that it was locked and proceeded to turn around in a very tight spot and then got it up to maybe 20 going up the hill. Did I damage anything by doing either of these?

I didn't feel or hear anything nasty but I'm a bit of a newb when it comes to this stuff.

If it was slippery enough to not bind the drivetrain, you should be fine.

If it DID bind, you probably would have felt it.

LOL no.

My truck is locked 24-7, cannot be turned off. I have 25k trouble free miles. It just burns through tires fast.

That being said, I would never buy a truck with an un-lockable locker again. It's annoying as hell.

Doesn't the locker automatically disengage when you shift out of Low 1?
Unless you've done the wiring bypass deal.

Not mine, it's an ARB or some other dip-shit brand.

I'm not sure why they only sell fully locked or "air" lockers... what is so bad about electronic? Seems like a hell of a lot less of a pain in the ass to install, maintain and deal with (no compressors and all).
