Vehicle ran hot-replaced thermostat, water pump, timing belt. Had leak from back of thermostat housing into water tube, fixed that. Now have rough idle and doesn't want to accelerate at times when driving. Got a P0325 code. Did not have this problem before the overheating. What issues should I do I check to determine what is causing knock sensor code? O have read all kinds of things about replacing, relocating and bypassing. However, it seems more likely that something I did incorrectly is causing code.

Not sure how that would cause the P0325 code to be thrown.. could just be bad timing. I know I had a rough idle before replacing the knock sensor, after that she was good to go.

See who else chimes in before you replace it though, I could be wrong. It's not a cheap replacement and would suck to do if you didn't have to.

Could have a corroded connection at the sensor, since you had a leak, maybe some got down that far...idk, just a thought
