I finally came around to doing the trans cooler bypass (my transmission and radiator were replaced a couple of years ago, after the milkshake-coolant-fluid fiasco.

I looked at the threads about this, but....the hose on the bottom of the radiator is pretty easy to identify, but when it comes to the other hose, it can be confusing since there are 3 really close together. One goes to the oil filter bracket, leaving 2 other possibilities. From what I saw in other posts, you're supposed to move the one in between, closest to the oil filter, is that correct? Here is the pic of my X after the mod. The shinny hose is the one I'm talking about.

Just looking for someone to validate that I did it right. Thanks!

Shouldn't have to do the bypass if you've replaced the radiator. Defective radiators are what caused the milkshake. (I'm currently trying to salvage my tranny from the milkshake right now)

They replacement part still goes through the radiator, right? Why leave it in there? I figured any part can fail, so I didn't want to risk having to go through it again.
