Hey guys and gals, I am looking to fabricate my own custom front bumper and would be forever thankful if you guys can point me toward some specs of Previous Diy for refrence. I plan on using tubing and need some pointers on dimensions and brackets points. I have an 01 SE

Hey man, me too. i'm a metal fabricator, i'd have no problem building it, but if the drawings were available beforehand, so i dont have to take the whole bumper apart that would be dope. I know in one thread a guy mentioned measuring it for each xterra individually, because they're bound to be slightly off.

I have a solid question for you then. Where do I start measuring from. I am wanting to build a winch bumper and also add bigger tires. what point to what point is my beginning and ending.

I had a friend build this for me a about a year ago. I have been pretty happy with it. He had me measure from the outside of the frame horns so the winch plate set on top and bolted in the factory holes on the outside of the frame. From there he built it free hand...
