Cruise control & Horn not working

I have a 2007 Nissan Xterra. The horn and cruise control are not working.

There are no indicator lights on the dash when the on button is pressed, except when the wheels are turned all the way to the left. When attempting to set, the "set" light starts blinking on the dash and nothing happens.

For the horn, the second horn with the key fob works but not the main horn. I have checked the fuse and changed the relay, but no luck.

Not sure if this items are related in the steering wheel (i.e. clock spring or a ground?)

The only thing those two circuits share (off the top of my head) is the combination switch spiral cable in the steering wheel. I would suspect that first, since you mentioned some reaction when the wheel is turned to the left.
