So Ill have some Xmas money and want these rim's...Cragar V-5 Wheels..
My question is...
I dont want to go over a 32" tire as of now im running a 265 70 R15.
Now I just dont get the whole tire size and back spacing. I think from what I can tell my current tires are 30" I would like to go up one or two inches. Max a 32" I dont want to change the width of the tire. What size rim should i order.. and the back spacing..? I think Ill end up doing a PML but I dont think id want to do a BL if I can get away with it. Im guessing ill have to cut the plastics some, and Im cool with that. Id like to run the tires I have now.. and change the out to a BFG in about a year. Thinking MT's My X is doing some off roading now with the stock set up I have so any help????

I dont think you are going to be able to use that rim because the only bs is has is 3.75 which makes it stick out a lot. More than likely you would rub with anything larger than what you have on there now and you could possibly rub with those tires that you have on. If you want something that is closely stock then you need to get a bs of 5.5.

Checking through Summit Racing, they don't appear to be offered in the correct bolt pattern for us. :( They are also only offered in a 3.75" backspacing which will give a big "bow leg" stance and you will have a LOT of rubbing especially if going up to a 32" tire.

You need a 6 x 5.5" bolt pattern with a 4.25" bore (standard size but nissan axle bore is 4"). The stock backspacing is 5.5" as you saw from searching and you want to stick as close to that as possible. The lesser the backspacing the farther out the wheels will stick and increase your chances of rubbing issues. I wouldn't go less than a 4.75" backspacing if you want to run a 31.5" - 32" tire.

Thanks guys... Thats a bummer.. I didnt even look at the lugs when checking the rims out.. Damn I like those too! Im guessing thats why for a steel rim every one is running the 8's Seems like we have no options for a cheap steel rim. So the size you said.. would my current tire still fit?
Thanks

Yeah you can do either a 15x7 or 15x8 and be fine. A 15x8 will bring your diameter down a bit but either will work fine.

In my opinion go with a 15x8. This way you are guaranteed whatever tire you choose will fit, tires up to 12.50 can be mounted on a 7inch wheel but a lot of places wont do it. I ran 15x8 steelies with 4.75" BS and 32x11.50's with minimal plastic cutting. None of which was visible outside the wheel well.

BFG has a good reference on their site as to what tire sizes are recommended for wheel widths.

IE.
10.50 is a 7-9" Wheel
11.50 is a 8-9 inch wheel
12.50 is a9-10" wheel
