Since i'm getting codes on both of them, it can't be they both went bad at same time. P1168,1286,1288,1289.
I found these are the possible causes.
- Fuel pressure
- Fuel injector
- Intake air leaks
- Exhaust Gas leaks
- PVC
- Air Flow Meter

any advice on most likely place to start without just starting to throw parts at it?
