Went to do a seafoam treatment Noticed that I have an exhaust leak (smoke coming from the manifold. Near the end it starts popping, and then the driver side manifold gets RED HOT suddenly and catches fire. I shut the motor off and the flames immediately went out. Waited ten minutes inside the car, watching for fire/smoke. Nothing was burnt by this, as I have no EGR or anything above it.

So good thing I got new-to-me headers coming, I bet the manifolds I have are cracked.

Glad it didn’t go bad, cracked Ex manifolds are common and no joke.

It made me need new pants! But I'm glad the truck still moves fine. I'm getting new headers... just hope it's soon.
