That's an odd question. You change the pads when they need changing. That amount of time will vary with driving and braking habits. I had an Isuzu Rodeo I bought new in 1995. It didn't need new pads for 16 years (190k miles). Nobody believes me when I tell that story.

Just check the pad thickness through the cut out on the caliper next time you have the wheel off.

I just ordered some AKEBONO front pads for mine, highly recommend as I put them on just about every vehicle I've had.
