Alright, so I think its time for me to make one of these. I bought my X for $4000, when it was originally $12,000.

The reason the price was discounted so much was because the guy who had just bought it before me returned it because after driving a few hundred miles, there was a knocking in the engine. So it was put in the wholesale lot, and since my dad worked there, he could put in a cheap bid, and we got it.

After taking out the oil pan and the 4WD we came to find that the bearings were completely fried because someone ran it without oil. So it is going to be a cheap fix. I haven't got many pics of it yet, because it is in the garage, and its hard to get good pictures in there. :p

Anyway, hopefully this weekend we can FINALLY get everything back together. And I can put on the awesome stickers Creepy had made/sent to me, put on the hitch cover I got for it. Paint the plastics black, AND I can FINALLY get it on the road and fall even MORE in love with it! :D

Welcome to the rust belt, the windy city.
Can't wait to see it when you get it up and running.
cant. wait.

baby! :D
you can get the hitch cover from Creepy on this site. If you do a search for ClubXterra stickers you will find a link to Creepy's site. Or you can go to GraveyardGraphics.com you will get to the site that carries all the clubX stickers and the 3rd light diffuser and the hitch light.

Good luck
Thanks Stan! And yeah its on www.graveyardgraphics.com.

I can't wait to give it a good wash and see it all cleaned up. I have also got about 7 stickers to put on it, so that's exciting too. :D
There is a BlondeXgirl on ClubX?? That's totally cool! (I guess I should logon a little more often - lol).

Sounds like you got a good deal on your X. I can defintely see the potential in your ride. Do you plan to wheel it? If so, you might want to consider losing the mudflaps and steprails, as they will get damaged offroad.

What is next on your mod list? PML and Tires, perhaps??

Oh, I am definantly taking it off road. Thats one of the main reasons I got it! :D

I will be taking the mudflaps and steprails off.
Also, I am going to get my plastics painted black.
I already have a 2" suspension lift ready to be put on, and I am in the process of trying to decide what kind of tires I want. I'm leaning towards 33s, but I'd like all terrain. So I have to research that more I guess :p
SAS!!!!! (Solid axle swap) :)
Hey footy, here is the direct link to the order page (for the hitch covers and such). http://www.graveyardgraphics.com/clubxterralogos.htm
ATs are a great choice for the Xterra - especially if it is your daily driver.

I've had really good luck with BFG AT KOs. They hold up to all kinds of offroad abuse, and they wear well on the road (and they are quiet too). I know they are pricey, but they work. I'm sure there are other good ATs out there as well.

MTs look badass, but they are soft and will get torn up quickly. Plus, they are quite noisy on the street.
