Good Evening all,

Looking for recommendation for a ball joint removal kit, my buddy had one but it wouldn't work on the lower joint due to the BJ going in from the bottom with the threads downward. Basically not enough room for the c-clamp of the kit. The kit was one of the those lower end kits.

Do any of your auto parts stores loan tools like here in the States?

For us, we go in, pay a "deposit" that is equal to the purchase price, including tax, then return it for a full refund, including tax. Net outlay is zero.

We have Canadian Tire, I believe they do the loan a tool. I'll check on that, would safe me $$$$$.

Use caution replacing the lower ball joints as the lower control arms are prone to cracking and the new ball joint may come out of its seated position or crack the LCA and cause failure.

Some parts of Canada also have NAPA. I believe they also have a loan program.
