Some time ago I got bit by the bug and fell in love with NFA stuff. Am I alone on here or are there other folks with a full auto mind?

I would be if not for two factors:

1) Money
2) Encouraging the federal government to extract more money from me for something I should be able to get without them.

I'm going to be getting my FFL once I decide whether or not I want to manufacture or not. So tough to choose.

Recovering NFA guy. Registered LL in an AR15 finally sold it and used the cash for other projects. Cans and SBR's haunt my dreams though.

I think it might be imposable for you to get either in Japan. I do know the BATFE can not be of help to you. Now if you move to the USA you can go to their website and get all your questions answered. Go to http://www.atf.gov/ . There you can find a number to call your local office. I will tell you that ANYTIME you deal with a government agency, keep a record of it and if you can, record ALL calls.

I believe he is currently stationed in Japan (USAF) but is a CT resident.
