Well any luck so far this hunting season guys? No luck yet here, but i did catch a glimpse of a big buck i want. I am calling him Goliath!

i shot a big doe a few weeks ago... it was my 2nd deer my first was a big 5pt. it was like 160lbs.

buck season doesn't come in until the thirtieth. So it's small game time for me. Yesterday and today were my first chances to get out hunting so far this season. Saw a bunch of squirrels yesterday but I didn't shoot any...it was getting late and I didn't feel like cutting up squirrels. Went out today and shot my first grouse of the season. With any luck I'll be posting pictures of a monster white tail in the December!

well i licked out and tagged a nice little 5x4 two days before the end of the season.. here he is.

i shot him at maybe 50 yards. and he didnt go far. i also found my bullet.. it went through him and into a tree.. i dug it out. It was a great day.

I didn't shoot a buck this year, tell you the truth it's been years since I've shot a buck. I get less and less into deer and more and more into small game every year. I was out grouse hunting Monday and went two for two, two birds off two shots...I was proud of myself.

That's pretty wild that you found the bullet....
