My 2002 X has the pre installed fog lights and I plan on replacing them with led cree lights once I get a new tube bumper. I was wondering if I can hook up these aftermarket lights to the existing wiring for the fog lights so that I can use the same switch

Yes, you can use the original wires. LEDs draw less power so you'll be all good.
