I have a 2001 X, I just replaced the upper and lower ball joints on both sides. I pulled both wheel sensors out and they were clean when I put them back in. I also replaced both rotors and had a hell of a time separating them from the wheel hub. After the job was done my abs light came on. I haven't pulled the codes yet (tomorrows job). I did notice the tone ring had a few minor dings on some of the teeth, nothing major like cracked or missing. Maybe caused by me trying to get the rotor off. So my question is how critical is it that the teeth on the tone ring be perfect. Would a few minor dings set off the abs light?
