hi y'all.

I searched this forum and googleeized it, nothing matches my condition.

my 01 xterra makes a rattling sound at the rear of the cabin when the A/C is on and i'm at idle.
as soon as i get back rolling, it stops. i don't know if there is an a/c component back there but it sounds like it's definitely behind the second seat.

any ideas?

compressor blows cold air, just started happening a month or so ago.

My guess, and it’s a guess, is maybe the cabin vent located under the passenger rear bumper corner. Basically it’s three flaps in a rectangular frame that allows air out of the cabin when there is over pressure.
