Hey y'all, long time no post, but i've finally gotten around to installing the shrockworks rear bumper & tire carrier on my X. Only issue- my tire seems to be too big for the tire carrier.

I have a 33'' tire (shrockworks website says it can fit up to a 35" tire). yet my tire is blocking the handle needed to release the swinging arm of the rear bumper so I can get to the trunk. I have the tire pulled as far forward as possible, yet it still blocks the handle. See picture:

Has any one else had this issue? I've contacted shrock but have have been waiting almost a week for a response.

This is a close up of Shrocks. My question is..

- Is the tire mount that bolts to the carrier upside down by chance, meaning is it offset in mounting to where it would cause the end result of mounting the wheel to be lower rather than say in a higher position?

This is totally unrelated, im new to forums not sure what to do. I have a 2002 2wd I put 265/70/17 tire on a 17x9 with a +18 offset with some trimming and turning the torsion bars as high as possible i cleared. Now i know thats a temporary fix. Where can i find tornsion keys or a lift kit for this thing for a long term solution? I thought it would be easy but seem to just come up with nothing. Thanks for your help

Wanted to update this post in case anyone had the same issue:

I ended up contacting Shrockworks about this. It seems the issue may have been related to my specific order. The bumper itself was fine, but the metal piece that slides onto the bumper that the tire is mounted on was not high enough.

They ended up shipping me another metal piece that was modified, worked like a charm. Everything was free of charge. Fantastic customer service.

What type fog light did you put in Shrockworks bumper?
I assume you're talking about my front bumper (both my front and rear bumpers are shrockworks). I used the stock foglights that came with the 2010 Offroad model of the Xterra. I just removed the foglights from the stock bumper and installed them following Shrockwork's instruction manual on the new bumper.

If your X does not come stock with the small fog lights, i'd imagine you could wire some into the dash with a simple switch and a relay, just like I did with the Hella offroad lights mounted on top of the bumper.
