Has anybody tried mounting the ARB brush bar on an 03/04 with a 2in body lift? I emailed them to inquire about it and their response was no testing had been done for body lifts. I'd rather not drop $1100 on a winch/brush bar only to have it not fit.

I will need the 2in BL to fit 33s comfortably.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Dude if you are dropping 1100 on a brush bar, get a damn shrockworks bumper, or a TAG, I like their work too...but seriously, why buy something that doesn't truly protect anything...especially for 1100 bucks

First of all, don't buy TAG... just do a search, they have a terrible reputation.

The ARB can be made to fit with a body lift but it takes modification. Most people just drill new holes through the frame and use the existing holes in the ARB. But that isn't strong - the frame horns are crumple points. I chose to reinforce the ARB, weld angle iron to the top of the frame horns, and bolt to that. I also had to cut off the wings. There's a page in my build thread with pictures. Since then I've replaced the wings with new ones.

And the ARB isn't a bad bumper. It is made out of thinner material than a Shrock but has a lot of gussets and bends that add strength. Shrock will still stand up to more but it's not a bad bumper. Had I paid full price I would have gone Shrock, but the months long wait and getting lied to is a drag.

Getting lied to? What is that in reference to?

I like the ARB because of the turn signals being built in and their brand supposedly being of good product and reputation, but a lot of people around here seem to like shrock as well.

Sorry for my earlier post...I thought you just wanted a brush guard, not a full bumper...but ARB are decent and quicker to get from what I understand, but Shrock holds the top spot for strength, I like TAG'S look but I am starting to find many bad reviews
