Hi all,

I am looking at a 2009 Xterra, manual transmission with less than 60k miles. Based on my internet research, I've stumbled across the issue of the cracked radiator leaking onto the transmission and ruining the transmission in the 2005-2007 models, however somewhere else I read that was a class action lawsuit that includes models through 2010.

So...basically, do the 2009 models have this problem? Are there other potential known issues with the 2009 Xterras that I should be aware of that Uncle Google is hiding from me?

(I recently had to part with my 1998 Explorer after the transmission finally went out, looking for something similar.)

I believe these were the TSB's for my 09:
Rear axles & seals, mine were replaced under warranty before I even noticed if there was a problem.
Timing chain guides needed replacing done under extended warranty
No radiator or tranny problems * knock on wood*

Overall it's been a great vehicle and I hope it continues to soldier on for another couple hundred thousand!
