Hello, I'm new here, so sorry if someone has already asked this before. The rear end went out in my Xterra, and I use it for work, so I cant afford for it to be down very long. I just want to buy a different rear end so I can just bolt it in and go. My question is, will a rear end from a 2wd work for my 4x4 as long as the gear ratio is the same? I have the ca31 axle code on the door, and the gear ratio is 3.13 according to the ring gear. If it is possible to use the rear end out of a 2wd, is there a lot of modifications that must be done, or will it just bolt in? Thanks a lot.
