I just bought a 2004 4x4 xterra and I absolutely love this thing. Im already planning on getting a 3 inch lift from 4x4 parts but im curious as to what other mod ideas yall have

Definitely some off-roading but nothing to extreme. it’s also my daily driver

Keep reading and looking online. The stuff I have done, or am doing is in my sig. Long term, I'm going to add a 3.7:1 Tcase gear, and redo the rear quarter panels with custom welded guards and steps. and maybe upgrade the clutch to something with a bit more friction when the current one wears out.

When wheeling best mod to always do is running larger tires with an appropriate tread pattern for the terrain you intend to wheel on.

On an Xterra also want to change to HD tie rod adjuster, add an idler arm brace with Bandit 4x4 idler arm bushings, and change to a HD center link.

Past the skid plates, rock sliders, locker, and bumpers as budget allows. Hands down ARB locker is the best money I ever spent for a mod.
