Hello All,

I have a 2003 X with 175k on it. Ive put every mile on this truck and love it.

I have an issue I can not track down. When it rains or the roads are wet, something under the truck shakes. And apparently if there is enough weight in the truck and the roads are wet it doesn't shake.

The issue is most present when the X shakes left to right after hitting a bump on the drivers side. The noise sounds like it is under the passenger seat.

Here is a youtube video I took one morning:

To date trying to fix this I have installed:
Bilstiens
Idler Arm
Center Link
Sway bar bushing
End links
Tie-rods with Ends
Upper and Lower Ball Joints
Y-Pipe for exhaust (long shot)
Bumper brackets (old ones were broken)
Re-secured front passenger side fender.
Replaced front pass. body mount.

Im lost at this point and still want to fix it. It must be something getting wet and becoming slippery. I cant feel the vibration in the steering wheel but can in my feet.

Has anyone else had this or can you suggest other things to look at?

I want to keep the X forever but every time it rains I want a new one. LOL And moving to the desert is out of the question.

Try checking the U-joints or the brackets that hold the drive shaft. Or the mounts that hold the transmission. Etc... anything related to those things...

I will look at my son's 2000 Xterra and see what else I can see when I get home
