i know its not an xterra but im at a loss for what to do.
it cranks over it has spark the fuel pump will not engage. i have tryed replacing the relay and the pump itself but to no avail. it will start and run if i spray starting fluid in through the intake. there are no CEL or codes displaying. it is almost to the point where i want to just hard wire the pump to a toggle switch. can anyone help me out?

the motor was replaced about 1k miles ago. i did it myself in my carport.
it has new o2 sensors, map sensor, cam and crank sensors. (i had to replace the tail of the crank sensor harness because of broken wires. its still good i checked.)

Have you checked for fuel pressure at the rail? Use a noid light to check for injector driver voltage. Also check the injector fuse. You may need to load test the fuel pump circuit, using a high draw light bulb or off-road light.
