I haven't found this Q/A on this site but may have missed it. I have a 2002 Xterra, 3.3L 6cyl, man tranny. The engine is gone and considering a donor engine. Assuming the best option is an exact match. However, would the same engine, make, model, year but with an auto tranny work just as easy? Or would have other issues to deal with? If I can find the exact match, what are complications I might run into?
