Good morning! I apologize if this topic has been beaten to death but I'm stumped.

For some reason, my Xterra decided that it didn't want to turn over. Turned the key to start it, and nothing happened. All of the accessories (lights, radio, heater, etc) turned on and functioned fully but she just wouldn't start. Turning the key again resulted in the usual reset of all of the accessories, but no clicks or anything. The only sound I could hear was the faint hiss of the efi.
She ran just fine an hour prior. The turnover and cranks sounded a little weak, if that makes any sense, but once she was going I had no issues.
I'm guessing it's my security system. I've got a Viper remote start.

Any ideas on how to fix it quickly?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Super duper necro, but I just ended up replacing the starter as a whole.
Turns out, a valve cover gasket was leaking a small amount of oil onto the starter. All gaskets got replaced too. Problem solved.
