02 VG33ER hood on a 01?
With my 01 engine potentially being a write-off, I was wondering if I could drop a 02-03 VG33ER supercharged engine in there. I know I need to also swap out the ECU with an 02-03, and do the knock sensor relocation mod, but can I just swap in an 02-03 hood in place of my 01 to make the engine fit? As far as I can tell the only fitment issue is the curve over the headlights on the 02-03 hood, but I could cover the gap with the bug guard I have installed on the existing hood.
Anyone done this hood swap before or dropped the supercharged engine into an 01?
