I found a broken ground strap on driver side in the engine bay, toward the front. Does anyone know where it is supposed to ground to? There is a connect on the non broken side.

I had a similar question some time back and I remember people saying it goes to the catalytic converter heat shield somewhere.

I never reconnected mine though because it has worked fine for years without it...but I suspect it may be the same.

Did you ever reconnect? Still haven't on mine but it's on the list.

The ground strap does go to the catalytic converter, it goes to the bolt that holds the heat shield to the cat. There is one on both sides so maybe you only need one. Look on the other side to see where it goes. Both sides straps go to the heat shied for that sides cat.
