So I have 2001 xterra 4wd, my cruise on light works but will set only intermittently, or when set I hit a bump on the highway and it turns off. It works again when I use resume however. Any thoughts? Thanks

The set light keeps blinking (My OCD can’t ignore it :-) and I know it is related to cruise control. Since I never use CC, was thinking of yanking the fuse for cruise control, if it exists. Will this eliminate the blinking light?
