Happy birthday Drake! Just dropin' a note to say hi. I've been riding on my new Cooper STT's. I love them! Last week a friend of mine tried cutting through a field to get to my apartment after a few hours at the bar. He got his Camary stuck in the mud up to his doors. I hooked up my tow strap, put it in 4L and as I pulled him out I swear I couldn't even tell there was car attached to me. Awesome! Tomorrow I'm having the torsion bars adjusted to get the vehicle back to level (I did a 4" SL done at the same time). Once that's done and deal with some rubbing issues I'll be able to put those tires to some more fun runs.
hey thanks for the reply. like i said in that other thread i haven't personally seen anything about the park but a customer that came to where i work was talking about there being one opening up soon and saw the x and invited me to go with some buddy of his that wants to see what his new fj can do. i figure i might would go along bc he is going to need someone to pull him out haha
Hey man. I posted about a possible park i heard about in Auburn al. Stevin said that you were going in mid feb. Cant find any info on this on the web. Let me know details bc id love to go if possible as auburn is only 45 mins away
OK, so I'm new to this sort of thing so forgive my lack of knowledge...I have TWO XTerras a '02 and an '04. I LOVE them both! So does my wife (hence the second X) so much so that she traded her '07 Versa for the '04 X. It was the only way I could get the keys out of her hand so I could drive my X on snowy days. Both were bought used and I'm trying to get basics up to snuff on both. And then I tried to change spark plugs....is there a special tool for or trick to getting the back plug out? I don't think it has EVER been done on either X and both could benefit from having new plugs along with basic maintenence done. I want them to live for a LOOOOOONG time
Hey Drake, sorry to take a really long time to get back to ya. I started back at school (on line) and with work things got too busy for me to keep up.
Anyway, thx for that feedback. You helped me to make up my mind. I'm going to be buying them by mid November.
I'm considering installing wheel spacers when I do this so I can widen the wheel stance and get the largest sized tires possible. Any input or advice on this?
