Off Road Lights

Hey!

First.. let me say I'm a proud new owner of a 2008 Xterra Off Road! It's awesome to say the least.

My question though has to do with mounting off road lights. I've been doing internet searches and I like the KC Slimlites and Rally 800's but other than buying a bull bar, I don't know where I'm going to mount them.

Any Ideas??? ...I'm not a great innovative thinker lol

Some have mounted lights on their air dam. In order to do this, you will need to fab up a mounting bar that goes underneath the plastic.

Also, if you're going to get slim off road lights, you can mount them on your bumper between your fog lights...but again you will need to fab up a mounting bar.

Ive thought about doing that... but I'm afraid the plastic is thin enough that it may not support the bar and the light.

If I would do that.. about how thick should the bar be?

1"? 1 1/2"?

Neat, only $27 but holy hell $327 for the remote control spot!
For that kind of money I have a cheap ass buddy that would sit on my hood and aim a spotlight for me.

Traded in all my project cars for a new Xterra, not an ounce of buyers remorse. My build thread
