Question Aftermarket Stereo install??

I am sure this has been asked before... but I am new. ;-)

I have a 2002 Xterra with the single disk factory CD player in it. I just bought a new JVC HD CD player I want to install.
How do you get the factory one out? Also, tips on installing the new one would also be great!

Thank you so much!!

OK
TO REMOVE THE CENTER CONSOL where the radio is there are screws on the underside of stuff, the lil ledge uder the radio, the ledge under the temp controls, etc, remove all those screws and the whole thing just pops off(pull near the top
then you will have to remove the consol part by the shifter to get the control part all the way off(should be pretty straight forward once you get the first piece off)

then make sure you have a wire harness so you dont have to cut any wires and you will need a lil double din thing to make up for the space since the new one prob only takes 1/2 the space of the stocker
then plug it in and bolt it up

Great little how to there, it's very easy though, good luck with yours.

The plugins can be finicky, there are three tabs you need to push to take them out one on top and two on the sides.
