New Xterra Owner

Hey excited to be joining this forum finally as an xterra owner.

My fiance and I just picked up our 2005 Nissan xterra after searching long and hard for the right used one we found a gem at a local nissan dealer. Clear records, service history, low km's, no accidents, local car! Even came with some 265/75/R16 BFG AT's.

We do a lot of backcountry activities, skiing, hiking, camping, rock climbing etc so this vehicle will primarily be used as a weekend toy to facilitate access our hobbies.

Welcome to the club!

An awesome looking toy, only problem is starting it out as a toy means it won't be so stock looking for long

Have plenty of fun and we'll see you around!

Hi and welcome to Club X
Please look into the strawberry milk shake issue the 05 -09 could have. There is a simple asy/cheap fix, to prevent a possible disaster.
Everything else is good!

thanks for the info on the SMOD. I did read into it looked into the service records, the radiator has been replaced to the model number which I verified addressed the issue. This was done through the extended warranty by nissan.

checked the fluid, looks clean and shifts smoothly.
