New to Me Xterra

What's going on?

Figured I'd introduce myself. I'm not sure how big this forum is yet but I'm eager to start looking around. I'm on Club Lexus and NASIOC, too. I currently have a IS250 but have had two Imprezas before that.

I'm picking up a yellow 2001 Xterra SE from some friends of my parents as a 2nd car. I can't stand anymore to drive my IS250 in the PA snow and salt anymore.

Basically, I love the style of it and even though it has 180K miles, I couldn't pass on the price, $2000. The guy had the front hubs rebuilt/greased, new battery, new brakes/rotors, just changed transmission fluid, new starter, had the wheels refinished because I guess one of them was leaking some air. He wants to get the passenger window motor fixed and have it detailed before I go and get it.

Pretty excited even though it's 10+ years old.

Welcome to the site. Sounds like it should be in decent shape.

Hi and welcome to Club X!
Great price, so you didn't go wrong getting it.
At the very least, it will save your other rigs and you may even get to love it as most of us here do.

Thanks, my Lexus is dropped on coilovers and doesn't handle the winters too well. I could raise it up, but I'm too accustomed to seeing it low. The xterra should save quite the wear and tear.
