Dome Light Help

My dome lights don't seem to work. Which fuse is it? I don't think it is the fuse though because my front map lights work.

Is there another fuse idk about?

28 (7.5A); same fuse for both dome lamps. Map lights are 26.

mine constantly burns out. If I manage to get 2 or 3 months without the light burning out I would be really impressed. i buy them 4 at a time. Even then I feel like I am constantly buying these stupid things.

He's swapped the bulbs, front to back and the problem stays at the front fixture

If the fuses are intact get a test light and see if you have 12 volt at the connection and start working you way towards the power source origin.

I got a meter and checked and only the hatch light is showing 12v. The other dome light isn't reading anything. This seems weird considering that when peeking under the headliner they are connected to the same harness.

I think I am just going to say forget the dome light and run a separte fused power wire up to that spot and mount a flip down dvd player.

Think I could splice into the rear dome's power and run it to that spot??
