First mods/upgrades?

I just got my 2004 xterra and I was wondering what would be some good upgrades or mods that I could do on a budget? Thanks-lane

I don't want anything that big yet. Just some basic cosmetic mods like plasti dip or bed liner coating. Just need some suggestions

Most bumpers need re-updated, so a nice, fairly cheap mod would be painting or even bed lining all you plastics and even your rims if you like that look. I lot of people put on a PML or Poor Man's Lift which consists of this.. https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/xter...les-p-145.html and I index of your torsion bars on your front which you can find out how to do pretty easily though searching this site. The best thing to do it just search the sight over and find things you like on other Xterras that you like and that are in your budget. Have fun with it!

Thank you! And it's gonna be tough to get a whole bunch of upgrades I'm only 16 and I have sports every day of the week so it's almost impossible to get some money!

Check the DIY threads. Some can be done with basic tools and little money.

I feel you. I got my X when I was 16 as well and I would like to think I've made quite a bit of progress in the past 2 years so it's possible man!

just leave it stock

If you're 16 just drive it. It's good to go just how it is. gas, oil changes, and tires are going to keep your funds occupied for a long time.
