Pulling Gen 1 engine w/ trans?

I searched but didn't find anything. Can the Gen 1 V6 engine be pulled with the auto trans still attached? Doesn't appear to be so based on the FSM, but wanted to check just in case.

i'd imagine if you took out the front axle and cross members sure. Might be less work to separate them though.
