HEY, I am Dave and after a month of research I finally decided that the XTERRA was the correct tow vehicle for my "new to me" boat. I wanted something that was a very capable off roader right out of the wrapper. I used to wheel in explorers and found SUVs to suit me best, so on/off road, daily driver and a tow vehicle the X fit the bill. Too early to tell as I have only had my Silver 2003 XTERRA SE/SC for about two weeks. Boat is put away (winter here in canada now) and the tires on it suck untill wednesday when to new AT rubbers go on. But so far I luv my new to me X, and hope to help ppl and receive help here for a long time coming.
