I would think a lot of Hostess products -especially Twinkies- are too iconic for them to just vanish. I'd almost guarantee that even if Hostess belly-ups that some big company will gobble the Twinkie rights and continue manufacturing them.
I went grabbed a box of Twinkies this morning, as soon as I found out. (the funny thing is, I don't even eat them, lol). I bought them for my 7 year old son, who has never had one, and I just thought he should at least know what all the hype is all about.
Guys on ebay are trying to sell them for thousands of dollars.
I live in St. Louis where there is a hostees wonder bread factory and the local news is all over the closeing of the bakery and the want for the cream filled golden cake is driving people crazy to obtain them . Yes Yes this is a sad day for twinkie the kid !
