Non-heat shield rattle

I'm getting some wicked exhaust resonance from the passenger side front between my rear cat and header. It can't be the heat shields because there aren't any left, they've all rusted away and been pulled out by me.

There's no exhaust leak so I'm at a loss for what could be resonating in that space. Initially I thought it was the wheel well plastic but that's all been secured. The shield over that rear cat is also gone.

I'm at a loss for what could be causing this resonance, but when it gets going it is LOUD! The problem started after some taking on some rough trails. Everything works otherwise.

Ideas???

missing a bracket for the exhaust? maybe a bolt left from the heat shields? maybe someone else has a better idea

Final verdict:

It was....the heat shields. Or at least what was left of them. The shield between the body and exhaust was the culprit.

I can hear again!
