My New Hobby/College Income

Well, I recently got extremely interested in the second amendment, so I looked into getting my handgun permit. I went and took the course and paid the fee in TN, and I got my permit. After that I decided that it was time for a gun, so I looked around and shot a few different things and finally settled on a Beretta sub-compact. I love this gun...it is great.

After all of this, I was of course looking for a way to carry it. I looked around everywhere, and saw that there were very few people that made holsters for my gun, so I started to look at DIY holsters, and settled on Kydex. I bought all of the stuff to make my own, but then shortly realized that I could make a little extra money doing this through school. Right not, I don't have any trainers to make guns with, so I can only do local jobs, but I hope within the next few months that I can start to get some trainers where I can start handling out of area customers. Here is my setup and a few jobs that I have done. Let me know what you think and also let me know any way that I can improve for those of you that have been carrying longer.

Here is a list of the guns that I can do as well as the prices for the different holsters. If you have any questions about either, or want something different, message me on here and let me know what you are looking for. Also, you can check me out on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/CustomHolstersByRyan

Nice! I'd get one for my 1911 if you were closer. Maybe after you get some trainers.

Good deal! Your stull looks great!

FYI, there is decent money made for kydex knife/lighter/gear sheaths, too - especially if you make some clever designs for popular makes/models.

People WILL pay $20 for a sheath for a $60 ESEE Izula.

I've seen them for multitools, bic lighters, firesteels, hatchets, tomahawks, EMT shears, etc.
