looking at a 3rd Gen Pathy

So we need to get rid of the wifey's 2008 Jeep Liberty. It is just not big enough. Was looking at a 2007 Pathy. Anyone know anything about them? I know it is basically the same as a 2nd gen X.
Looking w/ something w/ a 3rd row of seats.

Thanks

There can be quite a few differences between an X and a Pathy. Foremost being the Pathy is available with a V8 option which I'd love to steal one day... A lot of people argue the suspension set up is purposefully rigged much softer than the X, but if you're looking for a family hauler that's probably preferable. The frame is similar to the X, but has more on common with the Frontier's extended F Alpha platform to accomodate the 3rd row seating.

If it's a 4L V6 Pathy that you're looking at, it's going to share a lot of components with the 2nd gen X.

Yea this is just going to be a family hauler. The farthest this truck would get off the road would be driving on the beaches in OBX.

Any problems w/ them?

Yea looking at a 4L V6.

Same as on the X. Bypass the cooler in the radiator and run only an external. Timing chain guides are 100% the same since they are the exact same engine.
