Replacing dome/map lights??

Hi All,

I'm looking to replace the incandescant map and dome lights in my 04 Xterra. My question is, before I decide on a color, is what mm size are they? I see online 31mm, 37mm or 42mm, not to mention if they are festoon or something else? Can anyone advise specifically what size/type they are? I know the dome lights are DE3175 and the map lights are 168, and thats about all I've been able to find. If anyone knows a cheap/reliable site to order from, that would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

if you remove the bulbs you should be able to take the part #'s and match them to a MM size online (or in a store like autozone, which has a few color choices in most interior bulbs).

For more light with a red color, I went with a much bigger bulb that had ~8 or so more LED's and bent the clips a bit for the center and rear interiors. The bulb is still held in place very well, but its probably 1/4 inch longer than OEM. Just make sure the contacts dont touch anything else

I got this list from here though I did not buy from there. I went to ebay and they cost much less. For example, I searched for '168 LED' and got results. I have a 2004 XE and have done my dome/map/License plate & front parking lights so far. When the weather gets warm I'll probably be doing more.

Low Beam Headlamp Lightbulb Size: 9007
High Beam Headlamp Lightbulb Size: 9007
Parking Light Bulb Size: 168 or 3457ALL
Front Turn Signal Light Bulb Size: 3457ALL
Rear Turn Signal Light Bulb Size: 3157NALL
Tail Light Bulb Size: 3057LL
Stop Light Bulb Size: 3057LL
High Mount Stop Light Bulb Size: 912
Fog/Driving Light Bulb Size: 899
License Plate Light Bulb Size: 168
Back Up Light Bulb Size: 921
Front Side Marker Light Bulb Size: 168
Map Lightbulb Size: 168

go to superbrightleds.com and put your vehicle in. It will give you all the right bulb sizes and location.

Also don't buy cheap ebay leds. Your chances of them NOT working are greater than them working.

Spend the extra money and you'll be good.
