Driver side window stuck

Guys and gals, did my research but could not find the answers im looking for.
basically my driver side window was working till I press it all the way down, it wont get back up anymore. I did reserve a window regulator from napa and planning to install later.

question is what are the chances my master switch going bad? everything works on it, lock, windowlock, and all 3 other windows goes up and down on my master except the driver side.

Can my motor be bad as well? i took down the door panels and see that my cables are still intact and yes it is still intact.

Please I need help! thanks for any input!

posted on another thread, got my regulator ready to be installed with the motor, got me thinking..."let me try it out first!" push down on the switch the motor moves, pull up the switch and the motor does not move.... so conclusion, is my motor bad? or my switch?

Talking

With the engine off, but the key on, - Turn on the headlights, and try the window switch.

If the lights dim, it means the motor is getting the signal to move the window, but can't.

If the lights don't dim, it means that no power is being sent to the motor, and the switch is more likely the culprit.
