So my SES light came on the other day so I pulled out the trusty OBD II reader and got the fault code P1706 indicating a poor Park/Nuetral Positioning Switch.
Has anyone replaced a PNP Switch? If so (or not), what would you feel the importance of replacing the switch is? Kind of a part out of my comfort zone here, so I would love any input. Thanks fellas!
Yea, I reset the code and I haven't had any REAL problems at all. And I would assume if it was out completely it wouldn't know the gear and not be able to start, but it's not at that point. So maybe for now I'll just keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for the quick input!
