I came from Jeepforum where there was a Firefighters Jeep Club, and I really like this idea. So what better then a CX Firefighters Club
Retired, Full-time, Part paid, Part-Time and Volunteer firefighters welcomed, and that includes Fire-EMT's and Fire-Medics, sorry if you don't fall into this category but its a brotherhood thing and you have to draw the line somewhere.
Please have your profile filled out for identification stating CX Firefighters Club in red.
Everything related to firefighting can be open for talk. Volunteer vs. Career, Call of the day, what your rigs look like, what you personally carry in/ on your gear etc.
I really want to get this going and if big enough maybe make up some stickers or something to identify us.

I'll start with my call the other day, single car, car accident, victim went into diabetic shock hit a tree, ripped off the front wheel and fender of his Kia, flipped the car 3 times and landed on 3 tires... the other tire/ fender was about 30 feet from the car. Required extrication, however he walked out with minor bruises. He is now fully recovered.

Although I'm not currently on a department, I spent 6 years as a firefighter in a suburb of Madison, WI. I moved out to SLC, UT last fall. I'm currently in the Portland, OR hiring process, and will be testing other departments in the future.
